Kaiden AI has officially completed its SOC 2 Type 1 attestation, marking an important milestone in our commitment to secure, trustworthy training technology for law enforcement and public safety agencies.
This independent assessment validates that our systems and controls are designed to protect sensitive information, support operational integrity, and meet the security expectations of academies, departments, and state training commissions. You can view our live security posture anytime in our Security Trust Center.
What SOC 2 Type 1 Means
SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls) is an external attestation that evaluates how well an organization protects data and manages risk.
A Type 1 attestation examines whether an organization has the right controls designed and implemented at a specific point in time. For Kaiden, this included controls around access security, monitoring, incident response, risk management, and safeguarding customer data.
In short: SOC 2 Type 1 is evidence that our foundation is solid, our controls are real, and our security practices meet a recognized industry standard.
Why This Matters for Law Enforcement Agencies
Training systems used by academies, departments, and POST commissions must meet a higher bar. Agencies rely on Kaiden for scenarios, evaluations, and performance data tied to officer readiness. That means security cannot be an afterthought. It must be built in.
This attestation reinforces that:
Agency and trainee data are protected
Our platform follows strict security protocols
Our internal processes meet industry standards
Risk, access, and incident controls are documented and audited
Agencies can confidently use Kaiden for basic training, FTO, and in-service programs
As training modernizes, trust in technology becomes non-negotiable. This milestone gives agencies a defensible signal when reviewing, approving, and funding new training platforms.
Our Commitment Moving Forward
Achieving SOC 2 Type 1 is a major step, but it is not the finish line.
We are already preparing for:
SOC 2 Type 2, which validates that our controls operate effectively over time
Annual SOC reporting, keeping our posture current and reliable
Expanding our security program as we scale statewide and nationally
Maintaining full transparency through our Vanta-powered Trust Center
Security, trust, and readiness will continue to guide every product decision we make.
